Welcome to Food Services!

Merrill Community Schools participates currently in the Summer Feeding Program (SFSP) and Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Program for breakfast and lunch. Our district receives money and some donated commodity food items from the government for all reimbursable meals served to students through these grant programs.

Summer Feeding Program (SFSP) aka Meet Up & Eat UP

    • The government has extended the ability for schools to run this program the entire 2020-2021 school year. This grant provides FREE breakfast & lunch to any child 0 -18 or 19-26 years of age with special needs.
    • Ends Aug 20th, 2021
    • Last day for Meal boxes & Dine in services are Aug 19th, 2021

Do I need to fill out any forms?

Yes!!! Every family (In-person and Virtual) MUST fill out and sign the Household Information Report. This form takes the place of the Free and Reduced Meal Application, however now every family regardless of income or use of the school meals program, must fill out this form and return. Please fill out one form per family, not per school/student. This report is critical in determining the amount of money that our school receives from a variety of State and Federal supplemental programs like Title I A, At-risk (31a), Title II A, E-Rate, etc. These supplemental programs have the potential to offer supports and services for our students including, but not limited to:

  •         Instructional supports (staff, supplies & materials, etc.)
  •         Non-instructional services (counseling, social work, health services, etc.)
  •         Professional Learning for staff
  •         Parent and Community engagement supplies and activities
  •         Technology

**We are asking that you please complete and submit it as soon as possible to ensure that additional funding for our school is available to meet the needs of our students. All information on the report submitted is confidential. Without your assistance in completing and returning the attached report, our school cannot maximize the use of available State and Federal funds.**

Students Bringing Cold lunch

Pick 3 items and it is FREE!!! Let us help elevate some of the cost of your students' lunch from home.

  • Have your student pick a milk, fruit and veggie to add to their lunch from home and it is free. This helps our program and helps you save money on these items that many parents already pack in their students lunches.
